Alexander, who serves on the BSIS Firearm Training Committee and operates as an expert witness in firearms, use of force, and private security. The academy offers CCW training courses approved by multiple Northern California counties and conducts firearms training at Placer Sporting Club, a private indoor shooting range in Roseville. SAFTA provides basic firearm and instinct shooting courses designed for students of all ability levels, alongside Guard Card training, Security Officer Firearms certification, and American Red Cross CPR courses.
