559CCW provides California CCW training through online and in-person classes led by Paco Villarreal, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, former Primary Marksmanship Instructor, and California DOJ-certified instructor. Online courses are priced at $125 for the 16-hour initial permit course and $95 for the 8-hour renewal, with self-paced instruction and automatic progress saving followed by live-fire qualification at a local range. In-person classes run $165 for initial and $125 for renewal, include hands-on classroom and range training with free lunch, and serve Fresno, Tulare, Madera, Merced, Kings, and Plumas County residents. Training is SB2-compliant and meets Penal Code §26165 requirements, covering firearm safety, California use-of-force laws, shooting fundamentals, and responsible concealed carry.
Case Defensive Training Group offers CCW certification classes taught by Andrea and Chad Case, who are certified deadly force instructors. They conduct classes at The Angels Gun Club in Angels Camp, CA and are approved by multiple law enforcement agencies including Angels PD, Jackson PD, and several county sheriff's offices. The group emphasizes education in the judicious use of deadly force and provides legal support services to students involved in self-defense scenarios.
Grover Group Training is a California DOJ-approved CCW training provider trusted by over 30 sheriff's offices and police departments across Northern California. They offer hybrid delivery combining virtual instructor-led lectures with live-fire qualifications, with courses led by certified instructors holding credentials from California DOJ, NRA, USCCA, and California POST. The company also provides FFL01 firearm transfers and specialized law enforcement training as a POST-certified instructor.
