Blue Ridge Consulting and Firearms is led by Dave Adams, who brings an exceptional level of real-world experience to firearms instruction, having served 37 years in the U.S. Army Reserves — retiring at the rank of Command Sergeant Major — with service in the Rangers, Special Forces, and Civil Affairs, including roles as a mountain Ranger camp instructor and Course Manager for the Civil Affairs School. He also retired after 25 years in law enforcement, where he served in patrol, narcotics, SWAT, and as a POST-certified firearms instructor, FBI firearms instructor course graduate, and Agency Range Master. Dave holds armorer certifications for Glock, Colt, and Smith & Wesson, and is a member of the National Tactical Officers Association, California Tactical Officers Association, and International Association of Counterterrorism and Security Professionals.

Split Fire Firearms Training is an approved training company serving Northern California since 2010, specializing in CCW certifications for most North Bay area counties along with Alameda, Napa and Sacramento County. They offer NRA Basic Firearms Training, Concealed Carry Certification, and Advanced Firearms Training for civilians as well as law enforcement and government employees. Classes include both online components via Zoom and hands-on range training at United Sportsmen Inc. in Concord, CA.

Dobbs Firearm Training provides California CCW training courses, specializing in 8-hour SB2 training requirements for permit renewals. They serve multiple counties including Calaveras, Contra Costa, Solano, Napa, Sacramento, and Yolo County. Currently operating from Richmond Rod & Gun Club.
