All students must arrive with the following gear. Rental equipment may be available, contact the instructor in advance.
- Firearm (must be on your permit application)
- 100 rounds of ammunition
- Eye protection (wrap-around)
- Ear protection (muffs or plugs)
- Holster
- Belt (sturdy, designed for carry)

Case Defensive Training Group provides firearms training and CCW classes taught by Andrea and Chad Case, both Certified Deadly Force Instructors. California Online CCW
The Alpine County Sheriff's Office provides CCW services covering roughly 1,100 square miles of Alpine County. They require appointments for shooting qualifications with a $150 fee for the live-fire portion. Non-resident applicants must complete a 16-hour course and arrange shooting qualification through the department.
