Riverside Sharpshooter

Riverside Sharpshooter is a firearms training company led by instructor Phillip Ashley, who brings 25 years of law enforcement and 4 years of military experience to his instruction. The company offers Riverside County Sheriff's approved CCW courses that meet California's 16-hour initial and 8-hour renewal requirements, using a state-of-the-art realistic simulator for training scenarios. They also provide beginner courses, advanced training, red dot optics courses, and home defense instruction, with mobile capabilities including a shooting gallery for events and parties.

What to bring to class

All students must arrive with the following gear. Rental equipment may be available, contact the instructor in advance.

  • Firearm (must be on your permit application)
  • 100 rounds of ammunition
  • Eye protection (wrap-around)
  • Ear protection (muffs or plugs)

  • Belt (sturdy, designed for carry)
