Blue Ridge Consulting and Firearms is led by Dave Adams, who brings an exceptional level of real-world experience to firearms instruction, having served 37 years in the U.S. Army Reserves — retiring at the rank of Command Sergeant Major — with service in the Rangers, Special Forces, and Civil Affairs, including roles as a mountain Ranger camp instructor and Course Manager for the Civil Affairs School. He also retired after 25 years in law enforcement, where he served in patrol, narcotics, SWAT, and as a POST-certified firearms instructor, FBI firearms instructor course graduate, and Agency Range Master. Dave holds armorer certifications for Glock, Colt, and Smith & Wesson, and is a member of the National Tactical Officers Association, California Tactical Officers Association, and International Association of Counterterrorism and Security Professionals.
