ShootSafe Academy

Jason Granados and Christine Keil instruct at ShootSafe Academy, drawing on more than 50 years of combined law enforcement and security experience that includes roles in gang enforcement, narcotics, vice units, SWAT operations, crisis negotiation, and field training. Jason holds a Federal Firearms License. The academy has delivered firearms instruction to Orange County for over 13 years and recently expanded to serve Riverside, Los Angeles, and San Diego counties, with training locations in Huntington Beach, Stanton, and Beaumont. ShootSafe emphasizes small class sizes to allow personalized attention tailored to individual student needs. The team offers California DOJ-approved 16-hour Basic CCW courses and 8-hour renewal courses, plus Arizona and Utah non-resident certifications that provide carry reciprocity in more than 38 states. Additional course offerings include BSIS Guard Card certification with programs ranging from 8 to 40 hours, Add-On Exposed Firearm Permit certification, quarterly firearms qualifications for security professionals, and Basic Pistol courses covering fundamental skills in classroom and range settings.
